Process and procedures

How we operate

1. We scope job requirements

This is where we gather all the information necessary to put an estimate together for you.
Often this will require a visit to your location to get the details first hand. You may also need to visit the showroom to make your material selections.

2. We provide you with a price and delivery estimate.

We provide you with a price in writing for the entire job. The estimate will include everything; no hidden fees or surprises later.

3. You accept the quote and pay the deposit amount

This is where you sign the work order and agree to the terms to begin your job.
The deposit can be paid using check, money order or most major credit cards.

4. We template your job and order any special materials.

We come to your location to take the exact measurements to use for fabrication.

5. We custom fabricate your job

This is when we make the product you ordered.

6. We perform the installation.

Depending on the complexity of the job, this may take a few hours to a few days.

7. You make the final payment

Your final payment is due upon completion of the installation.
We accept checks, money orders and all major credit cards.

8. We send you a follow-up satisfaction survey

Tell us how we did. What you liked and what we could improve upon.

Fabrication & installation process

Amazon Stone’s turn-around time from template to installation is 2 weeks.
All of our fabrications and installations are completed by our in-house team.

Step 1: Templating
An Amazon Stone representative will come to the customer’s home to take measurements for cutting the slab.

Step 2: Cutting
Our fabrication team cuts the slabs according to the measurement of the template.

Step 3: Fabrication
Our skilled artisans round out the edges of the slabs by using routers and other fabrication tools.

Step 4: Polishing
The rough edges of the slab are polished to be as smooth as the top of the slab surface.

Step 5: Installation
The prepared countertop slab is installed in
the customer’s home.

Step 6: Enjoyment
Relax and admire the beauty of your new countertop.
